Taking a year + ½ off from releasing music under 'Tailed Ghost,'
falling in & out of old projects/places, I picked up a second gig at The Slice – a pizza shop in the shape.. of a slice. Since work had me closing shop around 12 – 3am, I'd come home with barely any energy, making these sleepy demos.
It's silly, the process of tracking half-asleep led to many mornings without memory of how parts from last night sounded or were formed. But after a good yawn-or-two, I'd listen back, and would be happy – though sometimes embarrassed – to what slowly took shape as this album.

During that year I daydreamed a lot. Mostly during work, a number of those sleepy demos would slip back in mind as I thought up new parts I would add if I weren't on the clock.
